Black for the summer?!
Summer is finally here! The word summer brings to our minds images of flowers and bright pop colours. I envision the same. Yet, this year I decided to break the norms and wear black to places. (unbelievable right?) And it looks like celebrities like Karlie Kloss are doing the same. The key is to get the accessorising right and minimalist.
This full head to toe black look (featured above) is a daring yet classy look for the daytime. Pairing it with flats and a chain strap bag is perfection! And the slit makes it breezy and easy to stroll about in for the summer.
A black spaghetti with cutouts is also a brilliant way to pair over shorts and a casual hat. The two nail colours which are all the rage this summer and will actually pair well with these outfits are black itself (too goth?) and nude. Nude nails will be forever chic and my go to.
These quirky sandals in orange would complement the black tones of your clothes and the snakeskin sandals would give an edge to an otherwise boring outfit. So don’t be afraid and don’t stash away your blacks from winter just yet, ladies…
