This was the theme song of Gilmore Girls which was/still is undoubtedly in our hearts. So when I heard they are making a comeback season, I couldn’t be more ecstatic! So why not channel our inner Gilmore girls and latch onto some forever style tips that Lorelai and Rory showcased over our teenage years.

Here are few looks you can don for the 25th of November and after for the “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” and for some winter inspiration from our favourite mother-daughter duo. 1. Leather Jackets

This is a fail-safe and can spruce up an outfit from meh to OMG. I carry my leather jacket with me everywhere as soon as fall starts… Whether it’s just for a coffee break or I’m making it my statement piece for the night. P.S: It does keep your warm and snug. Win-winnn!

2. Wrap Dresses Wrap dresses are so chic and can be worn at any event, even if it is all-family unlike bodycon which might be inappropriate at certain times. A printed or solid wrap dress can turn the heat up and yet look elegant. Diane von Furstenberg’s the most renowned in this department and her wrap dresses can make you a head turner.

3.Scarves and Hats As I’m writing this, I realize that this post couldn’t come at a better time to help us cope with winter. (Unless, like me you’re in a savanna type of climate which is currently still experiencing too much sunshine.) Scarves and hats are the best to spruce up any outfit in the winter and you don’t even have to think and try too hard! Just make sure it is in a complementary colour and makes your outfit dazzle.

4. Slogan T-shirts This is the easiest trend by far and also the one which we all definitely have hauled up in our closets for “Casual Fridays” at work or just to chill and get groceries. Slogan T-shirts can also be worn with denim jackets or any jumpers and you can be seen in public (yes, it isn’t only geeks who should exhibit these) and flaunt them in style!
